What to Expect from the Bicol Career and Education Expo 2019
Day 1: November 7, 2019
Registration starts at 10 AM. After registration, start going around the exhibitors’ booths. During this time, you can ask questions, read brochures, and get to know the universities, higher learning institutions, and other organizations that could help you decide on your career or academic path after senior high school. Young persons will share their stories, and you will get to learn about available government scholarships.
Study smart for the UPCAT and other college entrance tests. Study with The Review Masters.
Review Masters is a leading review center nationwide, with venues all over the Philippines. Available in Naga since 2012. Available in Legazpi since 2014. Also available in Sorsogon in year 2020.
In the afternoon, attend the opening day program. Look forward to a panel discussion on the theme: Bridging Boundaries in the Millennium Towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Panelists will be representatives from the:
- Department of Education (DepEd),
- Commission on Higher Education (CHED),
- Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE),
- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA),
- Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
- Civil Service Commission (CSC),
- Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT),
- Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), and
- International Labor Organization (ILO).
There will also be career guidance counseling.
Day 2: November 8, 2019
Registration starts at 10 AM. After registration, feel free to go around the exhibitors’ booths. Excerpts from Day 1’s discussion will be played. There will also be a program on Day 2.
Sit in on the program. During this program, you will be able to learn more about your target universities, colleges, higher learning institutions, organizations, and agencies. Actually, the whole day will be devoted to individual presentations (or AVPs) from the Exhibitors.
Exhibitors are likely to be open to answering your questions, so feel free to raise your hand.
Day 3: November 9, 2019
Like Day 2 and Day 1, registration will start at 10 am. This will be subsequently followed by talks/AVPs from the exhibitors who have yet to make their presentations. Excerpts from Day 1’s discussion will also be played.
